Every department within your business has an important role to play, but where would we be without the payroll department?

Every department within your business has an important role to play, but where would we be without the payroll department?

We provide payroll solutions for over 700 organisations in the UK and Ireland, paying more than 5-million employees. Our experienced and motivated payroll team ensure our clients receive accurate and compliant payroll processing on time, every time. With 500 employees working across our 8 service delivery centres in the UK and Ireland, our teams are passionate about payroll and customer service; meeting and exceeding the high standards we set.

Across our service delivery centres, we celebrated the CIPP’s National Payroll Week, a celebration that “recognises and celebrates not only the impact of payroll on business, but also the contribution that payroll makes to the UK economy.”

As part of our celebrations, we showcased some of the people that make our business such a success:

- Anne Donovan, who has been working in the payroll industry for 50 years. Anne brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding of how the payroll process has evolved to NGA Human Resources. “Everything was done on paper…on Friday’s, I had to fill the wage envelopes with pounds and shillings—completely night and day to the way we work now. But I enjoyed working with figures then, and I still do now!”, and,

- Katie Corley, who joined us in March 2017. “I’m still a bit new to payroll, but it’s great to know that the work I do directly impacts the success of the clients I support. We keep the engine running for some fantastic British organisations, so it’s really nice to know I’m a part of that.”

With so much experience and passion for delivering an exceptional service to our clients, plus our powerful payroll technology, it’s no wonder that we are able to offer an award-winning payroll service. Although the process of payroll may have changed significantly over time, one thing is for sure—accuracy, efficiency and compliance have remained top priorities throughout the years, and the team within NGA HR are ready to deliver this for our customers.
